Every day is a new day...

...and a new first. Yesterday Patrick was able to hold Nate for our visit. Nate was very calm and slept most of the time. They got some good father/son bonding time in. We heard him sneeze for the first time last night. That was pretty darned cute!

Tonight my mom (Linda) was able to hold Nate. She had never held him and was quite apprehensive at first, but figured out quickly that he is not as fragile as he looks and she wouldn't break him. After that I do not think that we could have pried him out of her hands. The next time they visit it is my dad's (Larry) turn to hold him.

He really is growing fast. 3lbs 3 ounces tonight!! (1455 grams).

  1. I haven't checked in in a couple, it's amazing how much has happened. He is progressing so fast it's great to see it and be able to check in here for all the pic's and updates without having to harass to already harassed parents. I am glad he is off the cpap because it not only shows progress, but I feel horrible everytime I strap one of those masks on a person no matter how bad they need it. Give the "Little" man a hug from us and take care of you two there. Kat n Luciano

  2. Wow! That's all I can say. I believe it's the first time he's had eyes open in the pics. He's so darn cute, Leeann. I know Linda has to be floating.
Thanks so much for all the pics
