Hello Everyone....

....I hope everybody is having a good summer! We are enjoying the summer and our son! Nate is growing so fast and he is doing new things all of the time. He has recently developed super upper body strength. He keeps trying to sit up from a reclined position and is fairly successful getting into that position, but not yet able to hold the pose on his own, but does very well with minimal assistance to stay balanced. He is smiling all of the time and has recently started these deep belly laughs that crack me up!

He is a drool factory... he is starting to chew on everything, which I believe is the beginning of teething, but there are no ridges that I can feel under the gum as of yet. I have read that from the onset of teething symptoms it can be 2 months before the tooth breaks through.....anyone else experience this? Nate continues to do fairly well with cereal. We have tried a few baby foods. He likes bananas, sweet potatoes and peas, but wasn't too fond of carrots. I can't say I blame him.

We have recently had dinner with Sandra, Chris and John one night- John was Nate's pod mate in the NICU- also a 26 week preemie- there are pics of the two of them together here. What miracles they are!!

We also had dinner one night with Lynne and Al...Lynne was Nate's primary nurse from the NICU. WE love Lynne!!

There are a couple of pics with Averie, Nate's Florida girlfriend. I hope Elizabeth, his Kentucky girlfriend doesn't get too jealous!!!

Here are some pics- click to enlarge!

A BIG milestone......

...Nate was in All Children's Hospital for 100 days. Today marks day 101 at home. Nate has officially been home longer than he was in the hospital!! We are so amazed at what a gem he is and he astonishes us more every day!

Below are some professional pics I had taken for Father's Day. They are a month old, but still worth seeing.

Don't forget you can click the pic to enlarge.

Let us know which ones you like!!
