I can't believe it has been a year ..Happy Birthday Nate!!!

This has truly been an incredibly emotional and rewarding year. We have been through a heck of a trauma and Nate has done better than we could have ever imagined. He has proven to be resilient and smart. He is jovial, sweet, cunning, manipulative at times, but has a great attitude and a natural magnetism...people are drawn to him everywhere we go and he greets them all with a smile or laugh.

We are quite aware than this could have had a VERY different outcome. We fully credit the amazing staff at All Children's Hospital- and especially Lynne. We love you Lynne and we are forever grateful for you and your skills, talent and compassion that have allowed Nate to be all he can be and all he is.

Thanks to everyone for all of the prayers and support over the last year.

Nate-a-palooza in Key West last week...he had a fan club as you can see by the pics!

Miscellaneous Pics......

I really like the pic of Nate and Patrick in their matching outfits! We were also able to meet Lynne (Nate's primary nurse from All Children's) and her husband, Al, for dinner one evening. As always, we love seeing them and Nate loves it too!

Halloween.......Nate the dinosaur....

We took Nate to see Grandma and Grandpa Loftus and Nana and Papa Little while he was dressed up. He was a very cute, non-threatening dinosaur. After visiting the grandparents, he went to a neighborhood trick or treat party to join his Florida Girlfriend (Averie) for a trick or treat red wagon ride.

Sorry it has been so long.....

....since the last update. I have no excuse except we have been busy. Nate is doing very well. These pics are from the week before Halloween the day we went to the Pumpkin festival in Bradenton... Nate seemed to enjoy the Colors and loved the crowds and people milling around. Aunt Carla joined us that day-- it was a great experience and we will go again!
